Web-Link
II software is one of the software applications for remote control
available at SmarterHomes. This one works inside a home or business
single PC, group of PCs and/or local network. Using a High Speed
Internet connection like DSL or Cable Modem ou can remotelly over teh
web check on the house with video surveillance, record video based an a
system event, view previously recorded videos, verify the kids have
arrived home from school via email notification. In addition, you can
take full control and adjust settings for lighting, heating and air,
security, and systems.
TOUCHSCREEN
This is one of the
touchscreen controllers available in Smarterhomes. The OmniTouch
Touchscreen is parter of Omni family of controlllers and you
can Graphically control any Omni a utomation controller with this
interface. You can remotelly and instantly control your lights and
small appliances, monitoring and adjustments of security and
temperatures, including temperature and humidity, pool and spa
temperatures, ventilation, decorative lighting and other items under
control of the Omni-family system.
This applicaion is also available thru our line of On-Q products.

Control Your Alarm, Appliances and X10 Devices


The Omni
home-control systems is one the manny systema available at
Smarterhomes for full home automation. This applicaion is
also available thru our line of On-Q products. The following are just a
few of the Omni IIe's wide range of automation and security features:
Control Heating and Cooling
Using the compatible Thermostat to control your
home's temperatures through your Omni IIe system. Full control of the
thermostat is available through the included LCD console, over your
telephone (with voice response) and over the Internet with HAI Web-Link
II. Connect a temperature sensor to trigger the thermostat in a remote
area of your home. The LCD display shows time, temperature and
operational mode. Also the system includes adjustable cycle times,
filter Clean/Replace indicator, separates operational schedules for
weekdays, Saturday and Sunday, with separate heat and cool settings for
morning, day, evening and night, among others.
Security
If the alarm is activated, a siren will blare, the display
module will show the type of alarm and location of the breach. In
addition, any programmed macros can activate connected
devices. The system can dial up to 8 different phone numbers using
the included telephone interface upon teh alarm activation.
Select DAY mode when the house will be occupied, and interior motion
detectors will remain disarmed. Sensors will be disabled in NIGHT mode,
but the alarm system sounder will be activated if any door, window or
non-sleeping area sensor is tripped. If you're expecting a family
member to come home later, select NIGHT DELAY, which functions the same
as the NIGHT mode but features an entry delay to allow time to disarm
the system. Finally, select AWAY when you leave the house empty to arm
all entries and motion sensors.
Assign
different levels of access to your employees or family members so that
certain people can program the system, while others simply use it to
enter and exit. If you are forced to disarm the system against your
will by an intruder, disarm it using the Duress Code instead of your
normal code. The system will disarm, and no sirens will sound, but the
system will perform a silent dial out to announce this silent alarm.
Control Automated Lighting and Appliances
Control almost any light or appliance with the
Omni IIe. Using a powerline interface module and a X10 powerline
interface you can control to control all of UPB or X10 devices from
your HAI Omni IIe touchscreen. In adiditon, the system provides
har wired control relays to control hardwired appliances. In general
theOmni IIe can control:
· 250 UPB switches, modules, and keypads (up to 8 rooms of HLC Lighting)
· 64 X10 compatible modules (four house codes)
· 64 CentraLite loads and relays
· 64 RadioRA switches and dimmers
· 62 ALC switch modules
· 4 HAI Communicating Thermostats
· 8 PESMs or Voltage Outputs
This systm also features built-in serial ports and an Ethernet port for
connection to additional control devices. Choose from a number of
accessories to expand your system, including a variety of wireless
options.
Control This System With a Telephone Interface
The Omni IIe is equipped with a built-in
telephone response feature that allows you to control and access the
status of your system from any touchtone phone in your home. The Omni
IIe actually talks to you using a digital recording of an actual human
voice, and you can send commands to the Omni IIe using the keys of your
Touch-Tone telephone. You may also call your system from any remote
touchtone phone and enter your code to "talk" to your Omni IIe. Control
connected automated devices, arm and disarm the system, or change its
mode. You can even hear and adjust temperature settings.
You can also communicate with the Omni IIe through a local or remote
PC. The Omni IIe has a built-in modem and can be accessed via phone or
over a direct serial connection.
